On bank holiday Monday we had to come in to prepare for our second critical assessment which was on Wednesday as our clients CH2MHILL required our presentation and report by Tuesday evening. This day was mostly spent doing research.
Day before our presentation, we were all compiling our research we had done and were formatting it so it could be put in the report and making our presentation slides. We also had sam bring us some Ben’s Cookies to keep the group going.
Presentation day! We were all in at 8am preparing for the second critical assessment with our clients. After yet another successfully presentation and constructive criticism given, we went for a site visit to Kings Road and had a group lunch at Byron opposite our proposed station site.
Following our feedback from the critical assessment, we had 2 days to prepare for our next critical assessment which was on the following Monday. People started to work on social force modelling and more in-depth on sustainability and targets that needed to be achieve.
On Friday our PM brought in a coffee machine so there was a caffeine buzz all around the group. We carried on with our research on sustainability, construction sequence of Kings Road station and social force modelling.
