The team readied themselves for the final critical session. This would be their last opportunity for feedback until the final presentation, so it was paramount that they had a working design. Thankfully, they got the simulation model working in time and this aided in highlighting the poor performance and hazards of the original junction, and the benefits of the improved layout.
The signal analysis, final gate design, cost-benefit analysis and construction schedule were also done, so all elements of the project had taken shape. Feedback on the critical session reflected this, with both the group and clients leaving the meeting happier and more satisfied than ever before. This put the team in excellent spirits for the final presentation and everyone is curious to see what the final outcome will be.
